The Managing Platform of the KANTON Model
KANTON Alliance does not simply construct infrastructure. It designs, finances and manages complete territorial economies.
Vision
A world where territories are no longer collections of disconnected objects but self-sufficient economic organisms — where housing, energy, production, education and governance are designed as one system from day one.
Mission
To create a global network of sustainable territories where life, production, energy, education, digital governance and local economies are designed as one system.
Swiss Origin
KANTON Alliance is headquartered in Zürich and operated by Kirsan Swiss GmbH. Swiss jurisdiction anchors the Alliance's governance, quality standards, intellectual property and financial integrity — the foundation of trust for governments, investors and partners across every project country.
Role of the Alliance
The Alliance coordinates the model across countries and ensures every local project follows a common methodology and quality standard.
Corporate & Governance Architecture
A three-level structure separates brand and methodology, technology partnership, and local project execution.
KANTON Alliance Holding
Parent structure: owner of the KANTON brand, Kanton OS, the methodology and intellectual property. Responsible for standards, strategic development, partner accreditation, global marketing and franchise development.
International Technology Consortium
Engineers, universities, equipment manufacturers, digital platforms, financial partners, energy companies, agro-companies and environmental operators — providing technological solutions, standards, equipment and expertise for local projects.
Local SPVs
A separate project company for each territory — e.g. KANTON Ukraine 1, KANTON Moldova 1. The SPV attracts investment, signs contracts, holds permits, manages project assets and is responsible for implementation and operations with local partners.
Alliance Governance
Strategic and operational governance with clearly separated functional leadership.
Strategic Council / Board
Founders, anchor investors, key strategic partners and independent experts. Approves strategy, new partners, SPV launches, major transactions and profit distribution.
CEO
Operational management: coordination of divisions, international negotiations, contracts, team management and relations with financial institutions.
CTO / Digital Director
Responsible for Kanton OS, Digital Twin, IoT, AI, cybersecurity and digital passports of clusters.
Chief Engineer
Technical assignments, engineering standards, master plans, work with design institutes and verification of EPC cost estimates.
CFO
Financial models, investment packaging, bank relations (EBRD / IFC / EIB), audit and liquidity.
COO
Local management companies, implementation control, construction deadlines, quality and liaison with government authorities.
Founding Board Directors
A leadership team building the foundation of KANTON Alliance across legal, engineering and social development.
Michael Derrer
Director Legal & International Affairs
Leads legal governance and international relations — corporate governance, the legal architecture of KANTON Alliance AG, international agreements, consortiums and relations with government institutions.
Christian Haschka
Director Engineering & Infrastructure
Responsible for engineering strategy, master planning and infrastructure excellence — territorial design, water and utility systems, transport, construction standards and integration of Swiss engineering partners.
Jürg Wagenmann
Director Social Development & Education
Leads social development, education and community integration — learning ecosystems, integration with schools and universities, social infrastructure, human capital and sustainable living.
Directors lead the Alliance’s key functional domains and, together with the international consortium, ensure every project follows a common methodology and quality standard.
