Projektüberblick

KANTON Albota is the pilot territory of the KANTON model in southern Moldova, in the Taraclia District. The programme turns a 430.5-hectare master plan into an integrated rural economy in which the output of one facility becomes the input of another: sorghum fields feed a livestock complex, organic residues supply a biogas plant, and solar power with battery storage covers local energy demand.

Seven development directions — agro and farming, food and feed processing, renewable energy, water and environmental systems, logistics and services, housing and community, recreation — are planned as one system rather than as isolated facilities. The aim is local added value, around 227 new jobs and a higher quality of life for residents. KANTON Alliance coordinates the master plan, project structuring and investor preparation; a detailed breakdown by direction is published on the dedicated Albota website.
