Mountain eco-settlement for IDP and veteran families
Wohnen & Gemeinde
Mountain eco-settlement and agro-smart village combining modern housing, community facilities and agro-zone functions for internally displaced and veteran families.
Onokivtsi is a mountain eco-settlement and agro-smart village in Zakarpattia Region, Ukraine, for internally displaced and veteran families. It combines modern housing, community facilities, agro-zone functions and sustainable local development on a 9.2581-hectare plot officially allocated by the Onokivtsi Community, which has also financed the topographic survey, engineering assessments and preparatory works.
The project is coordinated by the Charity Foundation “Volunteer Community of Kramatorsk”, author of the national initiative “Agro-Town for IDPs”, together with the relocating Siversk Community, and is supported by the Ministry for Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine under the “Shoulder to Shoulder” programme. A five-stage development programme is prepared and the design documentation budget is funded by the local budget. The next investment step is the architectural documentation package: design of residential, public and agro-zone facilities and 3D models.
