Agro Smart Village combining affordable housing, commercial real estate, agricultural production and social infrastructure for a relocating community.
Zolotonosha is an Agro Smart Village project in Cherkasy Region, Ukraine, prepared by ReFrame Group with the Zolotonosha Rural Community, which provides 38 hectares of land, and the Druzhkivka Military-Civil City Community from Donetsk Region, which is relocating its residents. It combines affordable housing, commercial real estate, agricultural production and social infrastructure in one economic model, so that the new settlement creates jobs and income as well as homes.
Phase one comprises 20 buildings — 10 social and 10 commercial housing buildings — together with 4 dormitories, 2 co-living facilities and an administrative centre. Later phases add engineering and transport infrastructure, a greenhouse agro-complex, commercial real estate and services, leading to a fully developed village for about 1,000 residents with more than 250 new jobs. The design documentation is funded by the local budget.
